City Invites Community to Rank Chelsea Pa’Lante logos

Special to the Record

The City of Chelsea is inviting the community to participate in the logo selection process for Chelsea Pa’Lante, Chelsea Onward, the City’s Comprehensive Plan – the first master plan since 1970.

As part of the process, community members are being asked to rank three unique logos from best to worst through the City’s Chelsea Pa’Lante Logo Survey, available at chelseama.gov (under the news section). The deadline to rank the logos is Monday, Jan. 27, at noon.

The top-rated logo will go on to visually represent the plan, which will shape Chelsea’s future by setting a strategic vision and direction for the community’s growth and development.

The three unique logos, Word Art Logo, Shapes Logo, and Rotulos Logo, were designed by Utile Designs, the City’s comprehensive plan consultant.

Community members can request a physical copy of the form to cast their votes by contacting Lillian Martin, Communications and Community Engagement Manager for the City of Chelsea, at [email protected] or (617) 466-4102.

Chelsea Pa’Lante is a community-driven initiative designed to enhance the quality of life in Chelsea through a comprehensive, collaborative planning process. Pa’Lante, meaning “forward” in Spanish, reflects the City’s commitment to progress, inclusion, and equity as it plans for the future. This is the first comprehensive master plan for the City since 1970 and is intended to serve as a road map for the community over the next 10-15 years.
