A clean-up and celebration was organized by Green- Roots in collaboration with the City of Chelsea’s DPW. The four days leading up to Earth Day the team planted trees throughout Chelsea.
Approximately 350 people participate in the week’s events which included planting 50 street trees, cleaning up over a dozen locations in Chelsea and East Boston and removing hundreds of pounds of trash.
