Students in Chelsea are headed back to class next week.
The first day of school for students in grades 1 through 12 is Wednesday, August 26. Kindergarten and pre-kindergarten students have their first day of class on Monday, August 31.
Students will then get a long weekend for Labor Day, with no school on Friday, Sept. 4 and Monday, Sept. 7.
The last day of school, with no snow days, is slated for Tuesday, June 15. With five snow days, that last day of school could be pushed back to Wednesday, June 23.
The last day of school before the winter break is Tuesday, Dec. 22, with students returning to school in the new year on Monday, Jan. 4.
February vacation in 2027 runs from Feb. 15-19, and April vacation is scheduled from April 19-23.
