Isael DeJesus Martinez Gonzalez
June 15, 1937 – October 26, 2024
Relatives and friends attended visiting hours for Isael DeJesus Martinez Gonzalez in the Welsh Funeral Home, 718 Broadway, Chelsea, on Saturday, November 2, and he will be placed to rest in Cementerio General Cinquera in El Salvador.
At 87 years of age, Isael passed away while visiting here with family at the time of his unexpected passing. He was born and raised in Jutiapa, Cabanas El Salvador and was one of six children of the late Antonio Martinez and Rosa Gonzalez. He was a lifelong resident of El Salvador, where he began raising his family. Isael worked for in the department public works in El Salvador.
Dear grandfather, your loss has brought us closer together. Your love from heaven gives us more and you continue to give and show us the union of the family. You will always be with us. We love you to infinity.
Isael is lovingly survived by his beloved spouse Maria Aguilar Cruz. He was the devoted father of Margarita Reyna Aguilar de Obregón, Anselmo Martínez Aguilar, Anibal Martínez Aguilar, Rosa Martínez Aguilar, Marilú Martínez Aguilar, Teresa Martínez Aguilar, Juana Martínez Aguilar, Julio Martínez Aguilar, Pedro Martínez Aguilar, and Ivan Martínez Aguilar. He was the grandfather of 40+ grandchildren, and great grandfather to numerous great grandchildren. He is also survived by three brothers and two sisters, all in El Salvador.

Joan A. Rossetti
January 30, 1956 – October 31, 2024
Relatives and friends are most kindly invited to attend a visitation and services for Joan A. Rossetti, in the Welsh Funeral Home, 718 Broadway, Chelsea, on Tuesday, November 12th from 9 to 10 a.m. Services will immediately follow in the funeral home at 10 a.m. Services will conclude with interment at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett
At 68 years of age, Joan passed away at home on Thursday, October 31st with her loving family at her bedside. For the last several months Joan lived courageously with cholangiocarcinoma.
Born in Chelsea, Joan was one of five children of the late Robert A., Sr. and Marie “Eileen” (Crosby) Gillis. She was a lifelong resident of Chelsea where she attended St. Rose Elementary School and graduated from St. Rose High School.
Joan began working for NE Tel. Co/Nynex for several years before raising her two daughters. Passionately devoted to home and family, she left the phone company to be at home with her young children, during that period she worked part-time at Sully’s Verizon as a Dispatcher. Joan remained actively employed for 38 years at Verizon before finally retiring last month from her career. Joan was a longtime member of the IBEW Local 103.
In her lifetime, Joan enjoyed frequently spending time at her condo in Marco Island, FL where she relished hours on end enjoying the sunshine at the beach. She also enjoyed downhill skiing as a “Bunny Trail Skier” at heart.
Joan is lovingly survived by her daughters and their husbands, Crystal Aslor and her husband, Marc of Tewksbury, Amanda Dunn and her husband, James of Peabody. She was the cherished grandmother of Sawyer and Liam Aslor and Elaina and Ellie Dunn; longtime companion of Lyle Abell and dear sister of Marie Wall and her husband, Michael, Sr. of Virginia, Richard Gillis and his wife, Joanna of Revere, the late Elaine Testa who is survived by her husband Edward of Revere, and the late Robert A. Gillis, Jr. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, extended family members and friends.

James F. Hein
October 31, 1969 – October 27, 2024
Relatives and friends attended visiting hours and services for James F. Hein in the Welsh Funeral Home, 718 Broadway, Chelsea, on Wednesday, November 6. At 54 years of age, James passed away after a recent cancer diagnosis on Sunday, October 27 at the Beth Israel Hospital in Boston.
Born and raised in Chelsea, he was a beloved son of the late Wesley F. and Charlotte (Smigielski) Hein. A recent resident of Detroit, Maine, James was a former resident of Chelsea where he attended local schools. He also attended New England Tractor Training School and was a professional CDL truckdriver, recently employed by Pride Pallet Manufacturing in Maine.
James enjoyed NASCAR, playing his guitar and listening to music. He was the dear brother of Karen Hein and Charles Hein, both of Chelsea and the late Robert Hein. He is also survived by several cousins and extended family.To send expressions of sympathy, visit www.welshfh.com.
Angel Bioleni Cruz, Jr.

Relatives and friends attended visiting hours for Angel Bioleni Cruz, Jr. in the Welsh Funeral Home, 718 Broadway, Chelsea, on Friday, November 1, and Funeral Services were conducted at the Woodlawn Cemetery Chapel, 302 Elm St. on Saturday, November 2.
Angel Cruz, aged 36, passed away suddenly at the Health Alliance Clinton Hospital in Leominster on Sunday, October 27.
Born and raised in Chelsea and Lynn, he was a beloved son of Leona Smith Cruz and Angel B. Cruz Sr. Formerly of Chelsea, Angel was a resident of Lynn for the past 25 years, where he attended local schools and NE Tractor Trailer School. After graduating, he obtained his CDL license and worked as a professional truck driver for various concerns transporting motor freight. Angel enjoyed playing basketball and baseball and spending time outdoors.
He is lovingly survived by his beloved wife, Bianca Lopez, and the devoted father of Angel, Liana, and Alina Cruz. He was the loving son of Leona Cruz and Angel Cruz, Sr., and dear brother of Leslie Blackwell and her husband, Robert, Kimberly Wilkerson, Tiesha Ortega and her husband, Francis Manzano, Gregorio Ortega, Victor Cruz, Celeste Cruz, Angelina Cruz, Bianca Roman, and the late Erica Wilkerson. He was a cherished great nephew of Marlene Tyler and Paul Smith. Angel is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
