The 14th annual Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration in Chelsea will be held virtually this year on Monday, Jan. 18.
The event will be held online and those who wish to participate will have to sign up by Jan. 15 to get the invite to the celebration. The program will begin at 10 a.m. on Jan. 18.
Rev. Sandra Whitley said the keynote speaker will be the Honorable Angel Kelley, who is an Associate Justice of the Massachusetts Superior Court.
The program will also include an update on the Public Service Project that serves the homeless in the community – known as Project Opening Doors.
They will also be highlighting public school art, poetry and essay contest winners, Spirit Award winners and Young Adult Dreamers & Achievers Award winners.
