Donna Lee Janiak

Donna Lee (Fenstermaker) Janiak, 60, a long time resident of Lynn, formerly of Revere, passed away in the peaceful surroundings of her home, surrounded by her loving family on Monday, Sept. 21. 

Donna was born in Saugus, a beloved daughter of the late Jackson and Frances (Scarpa) Fenstermaker.  She spent her early childhood in Hollis, Maine where she attended grammar school. Her family later settled in East Boston and she graduated from East Boston High School.   

The longtime companion of Stanley G. “Beamo” Janiak, Jr., she married “Beamo” in 2001, sharing her love and devotion for the past 32 years.  Donna was mostly devoted to home and family especially to her children and grandchildren.  She also worked outside of her home for the past 10 years as a Certified Nurse’s Assistant in various area nursing homes and care facilities.

During her lifetime, Donna enjoyed traveling and camping, making annual trips to Atlantic City and Foxwoods, playing bingo and other games of chance. Together with her husband, she liked visiting many area beaches and swimming.   She hosted family gatherings and cooking and barbequing were her specialties.  

In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by a daughter, Denise Konan and a sister, Deanna Lewis.  She was the beloved wife to Stanley G. “Beamo”Janiak, Jr. and the devoted mother of Michelle Naughton of Maine and John Janiak of Lynn, cherished grandmother of Kyle Pamphile, Robert Konan, Brianna

Goodoak, Kevin Goodoak, Jinonni Janiak and Hunter O’Donnell; dear sister of Kathleen Butler and her husband, Bruce of Marlborough, NH, Carolyn Stewart and her husband, John of Porter, ME, Deborah Gaouette of Ashlet, NH, Linda Fenstermaker and her friend, Frank West of Biddeford, ME and Jackson Fenstermaker and his wife, Chariene of Moxville, NC.  Donna is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
