Daniel Thomas Stevens
Boston Banking Industry retiree
Daniel Thomas Stevens, 82, of Saint Cloud, Florida passed away on Saturday, May 16. He was 82 years old.
Daniel showed his love for his country by honorably serving in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War. After graduating from Suffolk University in Boston with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Degree in Accounting, Daniel had a successful career in Boston working in the banking industry. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend–reaching out to those in need. His passion was playing pool (billiards) and he enjoyed working outdoors in the yard. Danny’s heart was larger than his passion for maintaining a well manicured lawn.
Many thanks to the care givers at The Terrace of St. Cloud Nursing Home for caring for him as one of their own family members – he was appreciative of the personal care assistance, compassion and support his aides extended to him during his two year residence.
He was born on June 25, 1932 to Theodore and Victoria (Shotek) Staskiewicz in Chelsea, and is survived by his loving wife, (after 62 years of marriage), Joanne Marie (Soja) Stevens of Saint Cloud; four children: Robert Stevens, Richard Stevens and his wife, Claire, Paul Stevens and his wife, Susan, and Karen Cromwell and her husband, Donald; his grandchildren: RJ, Alex, Casey, Andrew, and Kevin; his sister, Christine Squilliciotti and her family of Tewksbury and his brother Richard Staskiewicz and his family of Everett.
