The recent death of Larry Hooker takes from the local scene a complex and fun loving man – a mans man so to speak – who loved his Chelsea friends, his Chelsea life and life itself with his beloved wife.
His many, many friends, the great and wonderful Chelsea people and former Chelsea people who shared a lifetime with one another and with him, have all been sent into a state of loss by his untimely death.
We knew Larry here at the Record.
He had a touch exterior but inside, Larry was as good as gold. His word was his bond – and he was an honest, loving, hardworking guy loyal to his friends and family for a lifetime.
We’re sorry Larry has died.
A great Chelsea guy has been taken from the local see – and from his friends – who lament his passing.
