Henry Tejada – Camacho
November 2, 1969 – May 29, 2024
Relatives and friends are most kindly invited to attend a memorial gathering for Henry Tejada-Camacho on Friday, June 28th from 8:45 to 10 a.m. in the Welsh Funeral Home, 718 Broadway, Chelsea, followed by a funeral procession to Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett for a graveside inurnment service.
At 54 years of age, Henry passed away suddenly and unexpectedly in his home in Cape Coral, FL on Wednesday May 29th. Born in Cali, Colombia on November 2, 1969, he was the beloved son of Josefa Camacho Diaz and the late Henry Tejada Ramirez. As a young child he came briefly to Chelsea with his family in 1976 and shortly thereafter settled in Elizabeth, NJ where he attended local schools and Kean University in Union NJ. He continued his education at Wentworth Institute in Boston furthering his studies in engineering and construction. He settled in Cape Coral, FL in 2012 and established himself operating HTC Construction Services in Florida.
Henry was passionately devoted to family and he would often return to New England to help his family in many home building and improvement projects. In his lifetime he enjoyed music, singing and dancing. He is fondly remembered as a talented craftsman devoted to his work, and as a meticulous and fashionable dresser, and personal charmer.
He is lovingly survived by his mother, Josefa Camacho Diaz of Elizabeth, NJ; his children: Sarah Tejada, Jacqueline Kristen Tejada, and Michael Anthony Tejada. He was the dear nephew of Alda Velez, Margarita Calixto and Normanda Gonzalez, all of Chelsea, Julio Cesar Camacho and his wife, Amparo, Arnold Camacho and his wife, Aida, Jose Camacho and his wife, Anna, all of Colombia and the late Javier and Anselmo Camacho. He was the beloved cousin of Luis Tejada, Maria Victoria Tejada, Luz Patrie and her husband, Scott, Jonathan Alicea, Norma Alicea, Joanne Rivera, Nayade Toro, Adriana Mercado, Katherine Gonzalez, and their children; Amber, Josh, Kaden, Devon, Justin, Diego, Lorenzo, Amanda, Camilla, Ashley, Sophia, Sebastian and Angelys. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.

Carmen Felix
December 19, 1927 – June 24, 2024
Relatives and friends are most kindly invited to a visitation for Carmen Felix today, Thursday morning from 9:30 to 11 a.m. in the Welsh Funeral Home, 718 Broadway, Chelsea. The visitation will be immediately followed by a Funeral Service in the funeral home at 11 a.m.. Services will conclude with interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
At 96 years of age, Carmen passed away after a brief illness on Monday, June 24, in the peaceful surroundings of her home with her loving and caring family at her side.
Carmen was one of nine children of the late Eladia Diaz and Alfonso Anaya. She was born and raised in Arroyo, Puerto Rico where she attended local schools. She settled in the Bronx as a young lady and was married to Efrain Felix. Together they raised five children. She came to Chelsea in 1977 with her young family and has been a resident of Chelsea for the past 47 years.
Carmen was passionately devoted to home and family, raising her children and welcoming the arrival of her grandchildren, great and great-great-grandchildren. She very much enjoyed her home life, cooking and spending time with her family. In her spare time, she enjoyed being entertained by watching TV from cartoons to game shows with Steve Harvey and listening to her favorite singer, Kenny Rogers.
In addition to her parents, Carmen was also predeceased by her husband, Efrain Felix and several of her siblings. She is lovingly survived by her children: Maribel Lamboy of Revere, Roberto Felix of Revere, Andy Felix of Everett, Efrain, Jr. of Springfield, and Jorge Felix, Sr. of Chelsea. She was dear sister of Luis Anaya of Chelsea, the cherished grandmother of 13, great-grandmother of 28, and adoring great-great-grandmother of two.
