The Rez Reigns at Rockwood: The Harvard Law School Grad Continues His Meteoric Rise on the Boston Music Scene

In the shadow of Fenway Park, Chelsea’s Joe Resnek hit an early grand slam in his rising career as a music artist.

Performing at the famed Rockwood Music Hall just down the street from America’s most beloved ballpark, Joe Rez electrified a sold-out crowd with his own uplifting songs, complemented by his magnetic stage presence.

Lorenzo Recupero, one of Joe Rez’s long-time friends from Chelsea, spoke of the electric atmosphere inside the packed venue.

“Joe was just incredible,” said Recupero. “I’ve watched Joe perform since we were little kids, but I’ve never seen anything like that from him, that’s for sure. Joe took his game to a whole new level.”

Resnek said he appreciated the support of his fans at the show.

“I’m so blessed and honored to sell out Rockwood,” he stated. “The fact that 120 people pitched in to help make my dream a reality touches me and inspires me to push on. And I will.”

Resnek’s show was reportedly the fastest sellout in the history of Rockwood Music Hall. Tickets are selling just as quickly for his upcoming second show.

Joe Resnek is a graduate of Chelsea High School, Harvard College and Harvard Law School.  He was an outstanding baseball player for the Red Devils, helping to lead the team to the North Sectional Finals in his senior year.

Interestingly, Resnek wore his red and black CHS letter jacket on stage, paying homage to his hometown.
