Breaking and Entering

On June 9, at approximately 6 a.m., officers were dispatched to 35 John St. for a report of breaking and entering into the building. A homeowner had called 9-1-1 and told dispatchers an unknown male was attempting to break into the home. Officers arrested a male party on-scene for Breaking and Entering.

Armed Home Invasion

On June 9, officers responded to 49 Freemont Ave. at 10:40 a.m. for a report of a breaking and entering in progress. The caller stated there was an unknown male in her bedroom. Officers arrived and spoke to the two female victims who stated that they woke up to an unknown male in their home brandishing a box cutter. Officers observed the male and after a brief struggle subdued the individual and placed him under arrest for Armed Home Invasion.

Threatened with a Knife

On June 13, at 7 a.m., officers were dispatched to 207 Shurtleff St. for a report of a man making threats with a knife. Officers arrived and spoke with the victim, who had stated that earlier in the night, he had gotten into an argument with a man who lived down the hallway and pointed at room 320. The victim said that the male had punched him in the left side of his face, went into his room and took out a knife and made threats to harm him. Officers located the suspect and placed him under arrest Assault with a Dangerous Weapon and Assault and Battery.
