Tree Dedication

C1A tree was planted on the property at 100 Captain’s Row, where Arlene Black called home for more than 35 year until her recent passing. A group of building residents, including Joyce Black, Arlene’s sister, and Chelsea City Council President, Dan Cortell (pictured right), headed by the building’s Trustees, were joined by Admiral’s Hill neighbors on June 9th, a beautiful Sunday afternoon, to formally dedicate the tree and memorial stone baring Arlene’s name to the life-long Chelsea resident, graduate of Chelsea High School, highly respected teacher in the Chelsea Public School System and one-time recipient of “The City of Chelsea’s Teacher of the Year Award.”
