CAPIC Hosts ‘Breaking Down Barriers’ Fundraiser at Spinelli’s, Lynnfield

CAPIC, under the leadership of Executive Director Richelle Cromwell, held a fundraiser event, “Breaking Down Barriers” on April 24 at Spinelli’s Capri Ballroom.

Cromwell welcomed the many guests to the event. In her remarks, Cromwell highlighted the outstanding accomplishments of the agency that for 57 years has been committed to providing critical services and resources to those in need on a daily basis.

Chelsea City Manager Fidel Maltez and Revere Mayor Patrick Keefe were the guest speakers. Keynote speaker, Sen. Sal DiDomenico, thanked Cromwell and CAPIC for its important work in Chelsea, Revere, and Winthrop, crediting CAPIC as “one of Chelsea’s most outstanding agencies.”

The Chelsea High School Choir and CBC Liturgical Dancer Celeste Williams performed during the program. Boston Police Sgt. Joseph Cheevers, husband of well-known Chelsea resident Maria Schneiderman Cheevers, displayed his talents as a member of the Boston Police Gaelic Column of Pipes and Drums.

Chelsea Community Cable Television videotaped the gala for broadcast on its YouTube Channel.
