Thank You, Chelsea

“In 2020, I was first introduced as a candidate for State Representative in the City of Chelsea. From some of my first meetings, the community welcomed me with open arms. Just as the campaign was kicking off, our world as we knew it changed and the Covid-19 pandemic began. I was proud to be a part of a community that rose to face all the challenges that Covid-19 brought, becoming a shining example for all of the state to follow. Going to events in Chelsea always brought me great joy, from celebrating Pride to Chelsea Day and everything in between,” said Representative Jessica Giannino (D-Revere). “One of the greatest joys of representing Chelsea was working with the great state delegation of this community. Working with Senator DiDomenico and Chairman Ryan was an incredible opportunity; I learned so much more about Chelsea and the issues that mattered to the city, through their leadership and friendship. I will truly miss sharing Chelsea with my partner in the House, Rep. Dan Ryan. In the coming year, I know that Representative Garcia will continue to represent this community with the grace and skill that the city deserves. To the residents of Chelsea, from the bottom of my heart, thank you for the opportunity to serve you; it has been my honor and privilege.”
