Brandished Toy Gun

On June 5, at 10:45 a.m. officers responded to a call to a business at 306 Broadway for a report of a man brandishing a firearm inside the store. Officers were given a description of the individual who was walking away. The officers stopped the male and found the gun to be a toy. The officers went to the store and spoke to the clerk who stated he was frightened and threatened by the male. The man was placed under arrest.

Kicked the Door

On June 2, at 1:34 p.m., officers were dispatched to 177 Washington Ave., The EZ Mart, for a call that a female was attempting to enter the store by kicking in the door. The caller stated the female had previously been trespassed and was harassing the customers. Officers observed the female in front of the store holding a folding knife and placed her into custody.

Charged With OUI 

On June 3, at 6:50 p.m., officers responded to 74 Spenser Ave. for a report of an intoxicated driver. On the officer’s arrival, they observed a grey Toyota pick-up truck parked at an angle with the engine running and driver side door open.  The operator was observed and officers formed the opinion that he was driving while intoxicated and placed him under arrest. It was later learned it was the individual’s 3rd OUI offense.
