Several shots rang out on Chester Avenue Tuesday morning, waking worried neighbors and injuring one man.
Early on April 15, at around 1:30a.m. Chelsea Police officers responded to 86 Chester Ave. for a report of a shooting incident. On scene officers did find a 52 year old male who was apparently bleeding from his injuries. The male declined to be treated for his apparent injury, but was then transported by ambulance to the MGH hospital in Boston for further evaluation.
The victim’s name is not being released and the injuries are non-life threatening.
Chelsea Detectives are continuing the investigation with no further information available at this time.
