Myra Kraft

When the Chelsea Boys and Girls Club needed assistance in order to complete their fundraising for the new clubhouse, Myra Kraft and her husband Robert, owners of the New England Patriots, came up to bat in a big, big way and the project that serves so many Chelsea youths came to be. Mrs. Kraft returned here repeatedly and with interest to witness for herself the great work being done at the Clubhouse over the years.

And so it is with sadness we report the death of Myra Kraft. She fought cancer bravely for much of this year and succumbed to it earlier this week. She was 68.

Mrs. Kraft, in every way, shape and manner, was always the complete lady – bright (Brandeis, 1964), sharp, friendly, endearing and generous. Her philanthropy had no boundaries and she truly believed that from those to whom much is given, much is expected.

She was a source of inspiration to all her children, and especially Josh, who we know so well.

We offer our condolences to the Kraft Family and again, especially to Josh.
