Paul A. Dyer

April 29, 1955–October 17, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Paul A. Dyer, who left this world on October 17th, 2025. Paul was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend whose kindness, humor and steady presence touched everyone who knew him.

Paul shared a beautiful life with his devoted wife, Karen, and together they built a loving family that was the center of his world. He was a proud father to Holly and Melissa, and a supportive father figure to Nadia, Kyle and Michael. He was a cherished grandfather to Quianna, Tyler, Katelinn, Devon, Kylie, Connor, Jon, Kiara, Mausashi, Kenshin, Alejandro, Nanoka and Sophia. His love and legacy continue to shine brightly through his great-grandchildren: Isabella, Mya, Paris, Malcolm Jr., Brooklynn, and Javier Jr.

Paul now joins his parents, Phillip and Alice Dyer and his brothers: Freddy, Philip, Marty and Vinny Dyer in eternal rest. He is survived by his loving sister, Aimee, who will forever treasure their bond and memories together.

Paul had a deep appreciation for life’s simple joys and found his greatest peace on the water, fishing pole in hand. He will be remembered for his strength, his sense of humor, and the unwavering love he shared with his family. Paul’s legacy lives on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know and love him.

A celebration of Paul’s life will be held on NOVEMBER 22 at 3 p.m. at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 201 Washington Avenue, Chelsea.

Long associated with family business Page Cabinet Shop in Revere

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend Visiting Hours on Sunday, November 16th from 2 to 6 p.m., in the Vertuccio Smith & Vazza, Beechwood Home for Funerals, 262 Beach St., Revere, for Edward G. Page, Jr., who passed peacefully in the loving presence of his family, at his daughter’s home in Revere, on Sunday, November 9th following a brief illness. He was 94 years old. A funeral will be conducted from the funeral home on Monday, November 17th at 10 a.m.  followed by a Funeral Mass at 11 a.m., in St. Michael the Archangel Chapel, 91 Crest Avenue, Chelsea immediately followed by interment and military honors in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.

Eddie was born on July 9, 1931 in Chelsea. He was raised and educated in Revere. He was a graduate of Immaculate Conception High School, Class of 1949. Eddie then furthered his education and passion by attending Wentworth Academy in Boston (Now Wentworth Institute). Eddie studied Engineering and Cabinet Making. He then began his career along with his father at Page Cabinet Shop. Early on in Eddie’s career he enlisted in the United States Navy where he served his country admirably and faithfully during the Korean War. Eddie was honorably discharged and was always very proud of his service to his country. Eddie returned back home to Revere and continued working with his father at the cabinet shop. He later took over the whole business and provided many people throughout the City of Revere and beyond with his craftsmanship. He prided himself on the way he conducted his business and the work that he did.

After retiring from the family business, he then took a job with Home Depot, where they used his vast knowledge and sent him to many homes measuring for kitchen and bathroom remodels.

Eddie truly loved wintering in Florida and enjoyed the sunshine. He loved taking regular walks along the beach. He was also well known for his other love in life, ballroom dancing. As a young man he would be found dancing at the Wonderland Ballroom and anywhere else the opportunity would present itself. He was a great fan of football, and he especially loved the New England Patriots. This gave him great joy. Eddie was a man who will be remembered as living his life by doing the things he loved the most and loving the people that mattered the most to him, especially his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

The loving father of Edward G. Page, III and his wife. Theresa, Timothy J. Page and Jane F. Page, all of Revere, he was the cherished and proud grandfather of Fallon E. (DiPlatzi) Cadigan and her husband, Jonathan of Winthrop, Christian Eaves of Revere and Jillian Eaves of Tampa, Florida; the adored great grandfather of Ayla, Briac, and Briley. He is the former husband of the late Ernestine (Fallon) Page who was the mother of his three children.  He was the dear brother of the late James F. Page, Sr. and Dorothy Hanlon. He is also lovingly survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, extended family and friends.

Wai Chun “John” Fong

September 23, 1953 – November 2, 2025

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Wai Chun “John” Fong, who left us on November 2, 2025, at the age of 72, after a recent brave battle with cancer. John departed peacefully at CHA-Everett “Whidden” Hospital, surrounded by the love and warmth of his family.

Born on September 23, 1953, in Kowloon, Hong Kong, John was the cherished son of the late Dick and Joyce Fong, and one of five siblings. At the age of seven, his family immigrated to Chelsea, Massachusetts, where he became an integral part of the community. He attended Chelsea Public Schools and proudly graduated from Chelsea High School in 1972.

For over 25 years, John dedicated himself to his work as an auto mechanic at Sears Automotive Center in Saugus. Later in life, he contributed his talents as a shipping and receiving clerk at the TJX Co. at the Bedford Home Goods Store, where he was known for his reliability and kindness.

John’s devotion to family was unwavering; he took immense pride in hosting weekly family dinners that filled their home with laughter and love. An avid Boston Celtics fan, he once had the unique experience of appearing as a movie

extra in “Celtics Pride.” A tinkerer at heart, John enjoyed customizing bicycles

and enhancing car sound systems, always staying abreast of the latest electronics and technologies. Each day began for him at 3 a.m. with early morning visits to Dunkin’ Donuts, where he savored his coffee as he welcomed the dawn, ever appreciative of life’s simple pleasures.

John will be fondly remembered as a loving son, caring for his late parents and a devoted brother to May L. Fox and her husband Norm of Francestown, NH, David Fong and his wife Nicole of Halifax, Susie McDonald and her husband Jim of Concord, and Patricia “Patty” Calabrese and her husband James of Lynn. He was a most revered uncle and a steadfast presence in the lives of his nieces and nephews: Jacob Fox, Hana Fox, KC Kansaki, Aly Kansaki, Daniel Fong, Jimmy McDonald, Olivia McDonald, Max Calabrese, and Sam Calabrese.

Funeral Services were private. In this time of sorrow, we find solace in the love he shared and the memories that will forever remain in our hearts. John; you will be dearly missed.
