CHS boys soccer narrowly falls in tourney, 3-2
The Chelsea High boys soccer team, the champion of the Greater Boston League, came out on the short end of a 3-2 decision to Northeastern Conference (NEC) champion Masconomet last Wednesday in the Round of 32 in the MIAA Division 2 state tournament.
The Red Devils, who entered the tourney as the #27 seed in D-2, had defeated #38 Danvers, another school from the NEC, in a preliminary round contest at Chelsea Stadium by a score of 2-1, last Monday.
Coach Mick Milutinovic’s squad finished their 2025 campaign with an outstanding overall record of 13-5-2.
CHS football team hosts O’Bryant Friday
The Chelsea High football team will host O’Bryant High of Boston tomorrow (Friday) evening at Chelsea Stadium. The opening kickoff for the Friday Night Lights encounter is set for 6:00.
The Red Devils, who stand at 3-6 on the season, dropped a 13-6 decision last Thursday at Hamilton-Wenham High.
Chelsea will be taking on East Boston High on Thanksgiving Day morning (November 27) at 9:30 on the Jets’ home turf at East Boston Stadium at Logan Airport.
