New Chelsea Police Officer John Strazzullo was sworn in on Monday by Assistant Clerk Gabriela Solis, witnessed by City Manager Fidel Maltez, City Administration, and Professional Standards Division Command Staff. Officer Strazzullo has been in law enforcement since 2024, formerly with another police department, and is a new-hire with the Chelsea Police Department after registering with our local registry.
He will undertake additional on-the-job training, riding with a veteran officer in the Chelsea Police Field Training Program, before hitting the streets on his own.
