Sherwin “Steve” Gluck

Former owner of Outlast Uniform

Sherwin “Steve” Gluck, 94, of   Everett, formerly   of   Revere, Lynnfield, Peabody and Chelsea, (predeceased by his beloved wife, Phyllis D. (Rosenthal) Gluck) died April 4, 2025 at the Rehabilitation and Nursing Center at Everett.

The loving son of the late Saul and Ann (Reisman) Gluck, he was born, raised and educated in Chelsea and was the dear brother of Arnold Gluck of Chelsea and the late Melvin Gluck of Everett.

Sherwin was the former owner of Outlast Uniform, originally located in Boston, then Chelsea, which produced custom freezer wear for the produce and meat industries.  He was a fixture at the market where he was known as Steve by his friends and   business   associates.     Later   in   life, Sherwin   worked   as   a   food demonstrator at Costco, handing out samples. With his affable personality and manner, he was a welcome sight to customers.

He leaves behind many friends and acquaintances, in particular his buddies from Prospect House in Revere.  Sherwin always enjoyed sitting in the community areas chatting with the other tenants from Everett and Revere.  He will be deeply missed.
