Dennis J. “Denny” Bryson

Relatives and friends attended calling hours and services for Dennis J. “Denny” Bryson in the Welsh Funeral Home, 718 Broadway, Chelsea on Tuesday, October 15. At 70 years of age, Dennis passed away unexpectedly in his home on Friday, October 4.
Born in Everett, he was raised in Chelsea, attended local schools and was a graduate of Everett Trade-High School. He was a beloved son of the late John Wm. and Ellen (Rogers) Bryson. He married Diane (Iwanicki) Bryson in 1980 and was widowed 30 years later in 2010. Together they were passionately devoted to home and family raising three daughters.
For those who knew him, he was a man of his word. He said what he said and he meant it. Dennis was a hardworking and motivated man who tried to provide the best life for the ones he loved.
A lifelong resident of Chelsea, Dennis worked for over 30 years in the N.E. Produce Center for Peter Condakes Co. as dock and warehouseman. He retired in 2017.
In his lifetime, Dennis avidly enjoyed fishing, Sluice Pond in Lynn was one of his favorite spots and it is where he enjoyed taking his children and grandchildren to join him fishing.
In addition to his beloved wife Diane, he was predeceased by his siblings, John, Pamela and Richard Bryson. He is lovingly survived by his three loving and caring daughters, Diana Bryson, Sandra Bryson and Meghan Bryson, all of Chelsea; his four cherished grandchildren: Amanda Bryson of Holden, James Bryson, Mercedez Bryson and Aiden Bryson-Gomez, all of Chelsea and his adoring great grandchildren, Bryce and Hayley Fortin-Smith of Holden. He is survived by his sister, Sandra Thistle of Lynn and brother, Charles Bryson of Chelsea. Denny was predeceased by his best buddy, his Golden Retriever, Chance, but he leaves behind his three loving dogs, Lacy, Daisey and Haze. He is also survived by extended family members and friends.
