Police are investigating two stabbings that happened in the Bellingham Square area late last week.
Police officials stated that they believe the two incidents are related.
Chelsea Police are actively investigating two stabbings that occurred this morning in the Bellingham Square area, which are believed to be related.
The first incident took place shortly after 8 a.m. on Sixth Street on Thursday, Sept. 5. A victim in their 20s sustained a non-life-threatening stab wound, according to police. Approximately 30 minutes later, a second stabbing occurred on Fifth Street, involving another victim in their 20s. Both victims were quickly transported to area hospitals for treatment and are expected to recover.
Police said witnesses reported that suspects in both incidents were wearing black or dark clothing and fled the area before police arrived. Investigators are working to determine any connection between the two incidents and urge anyone with information to come forward and call police.
