Five Red Devils Named CAC Stars
Five members of the Chelsea High football team were chosen to the 2019 all-star team of the Commonwealth Athletic Conference.
They are: Senior defensive end and fullback Jabes Escalante; senior wide receiver and safety Carlos Pesante-Ortega; junior safety Raul Figueroa; sophomore defensive tackle and center Henri Martinez; and freshman running back and corner back Herman Esquivel.
Three Red Devils received Honorable Mention accolades: Joshua Sosa, Jeffrey Ponce, and Francisco Jovel. Coach Rasi Chau and his crew will be having their annual team banquet on Friday, January 17, from 5-9 p.m. at the Merritt Club on Webster Ave.
