Chelsea Pride Football will be starting practices on Monday August 5th at 5:45pm down at Carter Park. We will be taking sign ups as well. We offer the following:
1st and 2nd grade – flag football
3rd and 4th grade – flag football
5th and 6th grade – tackle football
7th and 8th grade – tackle football
Registration is only $80. If registering more than one child it would be an additional $60. We supply the following equipment: pants, game jersey, helmet, shoulder pads, socks and mouthpiece. For the safety of all our players we have Excel Orthopaedics Specialists come down to our practice field to conduct concussion baseline testing for all of our players. This process allows Excel to effectively manage each child’s concussion and helps guide a safe return to activity and determine the best course of action for each child’s injury.
Chelsea Pride Football is just one of the teams that make up the Northeast commonwealth youth football conference (NCYFC). The other towns are Beverly, Lynn, Peabody, Salem, Wakefield, Charlestown, Medford, Watertown, Melrose and Stoneham.
We will be down Carter Park on the following days:
Mondays – August 5th, 12th,19th,26th ( from 5:45pm to 7:45pm)
Wednesdays- August 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th ( from 5:45pm to 7:45pm)
Fridays – August 9th, 23rd (5:45pm to 7:45pm)
Saturdays – August 17th and 31st (9am to 1pm)
All players must complete 10hrs of mandatory conditioning before getting equipment. The following paperwork is needed when signing up:
For New Players: Original Birth Certificate ( we return to you after book check)
4th Quarter report card up to date physical registration fee
For returning players: 4th quarter report card up to date physical registration fee
