SEARCH WARRANT ON PEARL

On Dec. 5, a search warrant was executed at 154 Pearl St. The search warrant was the result of an investigation into a male subject that resides in the apartment for the Distribution of Heroin. As a result, the male was arrested and charged with Possession of Class A with Intent to Distribute. Detectives recovered what is believed to be narcotics, US currency, and other evidence as result of the warrant service.

Luis Rodriguez, 46, of 154 Pearl St., was charged with possession to distribute a Class A drug.

 

TIRE SLASHER

On Dec. 6, at 10:32 p.m., a CPD officer while on patrol in the area of Parker Street and Broadway observed a heavy-set male approach the front driver’s side tire of a vehicle with a silver object in his right hand. Officers saw him bend down and puncture the tire. The suspect refused the officers commands and attempted to flee but was placed into custody with the assistance of other officers.

Francisco Escobar-Torres, 55, of 755 Broadway, was charged with malicious damage to a motor vehicle, and one immigration detainer.

 

EL CORRAL FRACAS

On Dec. 9, at 9:18 p.m., officers were dispatched to El Corral Restaurant (408 Broadway) for an unknown disturbance inside of the bar.  They were met by security who stated that a customer became unruly and threatened the wait staff with a beer bottle. The subject was arrested out front of the bar by officers. The officers ordered the management to turn over a copy of the bar video of the incident to Chelsea Detectives to review for possible licensing infractions.

Danilo Barreto, 52, of Revere, was charged with assault with a dangerous weapon.
