Pedro Agostini, Jr.

Boston Red Sox and Patriots Fan

Pedro Agostini, Jr. of Chelsea passed away on Saturday, June 16, at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston after a sudden onset of cancer.  He was 59 years old.

Born in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico the o,nly child of Pedro Agostini, Sr. and the late Gladys Flores, his family settled in Chelsea when he was five years old. He has been a Chelsea resident for most of his life, residing for many years at Admiral’s Towers in Chelsea.

Though Pedro was disabled for most of his life, his many challenges did not deter him from attending local elementary schools and Chelsea High School.  In his lifetime, Pedro enjoyed following the Red Sox and Patriots.

He is survived by his lovingly devoted father, Pedro Agostini, Sr. of Chelsea.  He was the dear nephew of Elizabeth Agostini of Chelsea and Esteban “Ramon” Agostini of Florida; the late: Ismael Agostini, Monserrate “Adria” Agostini de Feliciano, Marta Agostini, BaudilioAgostini, Luz E. Agostini and Esperanza “Sofia” Agostini.  He is also survived by his godchildren, Gabriel Rivera and Iliana Rivera, numerous cousins and extended family members and friends.
