BRICK FIGHT AT THE WALK
On Feb. 17, at 2:44 p.m., officers responded to the Chelsea Walk, located at 416 Broadway, for a report of a fight in progress. Upon arrival, officers observed the victim yelling, and stating that he was struck in the arm with a brick thrown by a male party. The victim further stated that suspect had fled the area. Officers canvassed the area and located suspect outside of 151 Everett Ave. and placed him into custody.
Matthew Graves, 25, of 4 Parkway Ct., was charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
SLEEPING IN THE CELLAR
On Feb. 17, at 9:04 a.m., officers were dispatched to 174 Chestnut St. for a report of an unwanted male party sleeping in the abandoned building. Upon arrival, officers were directed to the basement, where they located a male party well known to them. Officers woke subject up and placed him into custody.
Leonardo Escobar, 44, of 92 Chester Ave., was charged with breaking and entering for a misdemeanor.
HIT AND RUN
On Feb. 18, while on patrol at 12:32 a.m., officers were dispatched to 700 Broadway a for a report of a past motor vehicle accident. The officers were told by witnesses that “a green pickup truck” hit a parked Lexus a block before Broadway and Cary Avenue. The officers spotted the vehicle and driver and placed him into custody
Cristian Bamaca Gomez, 32, of Lynn, was charged with unlicensed operation, leaving the scene of property damage, negligent operation and three warrants.
