The City of Chelsea and the Chamber of Commerce held its annual Tree Lighting ceremony on Nov. 24 in Chelsea Square. The Browne Middle School provided Christmas songs and there was hot chocolate and treats. Later in the evening, Santa Claus dropped by to help flip the switch on the lights. Santa Claus dropped by Chelsea Square on Tuesday, Nov. 24, to kick off the Christmas season and light the City’s tree. Several local officials and dignitaries dropped by including, Sen. Sal DiDomenico, Lou Scapicchio of the Soldiers’ Home, Maureeen Foley, D. Bruce Mauch, Allan Alpert, Dennis Cataldo, Chief Brian Kyes, Sue Gallant, Melissa Walsh of TND, and City Manager Tom Ambrosino.
