A film crew from the television show COPS has been riding along with Chelsea Police Department officers for the past two weeks. The crews will be filming with the Chelsea, Revere and Lynn Police Departments for a total of eight weeks.
Chief Brian Kyes the police agreed to the partnership to highlight the professional job done by the Chelsea Police under what are at times some very trying circumstances.
“We also want showcase how we emphasize community engagement and outreach as a means of accomplishing our mutual objectives,” he said.
