Dorothy Sylvia Blair

Of Florida, formerly of Chelsea

Dorothy Sylvia (Aronson) Blair of Bradenton, Florida, formerly of Chelsea, died on April 16. She was 94 years old.

She was the beloved wife for 62 years of the late Max Blair and was predeceased by her parents, Ida and Samuel Aronson and mother-in-law, Jennie Gelman and her husband, Louis. She was the loving mother of Donna Bean-Berman and her husband, Marvin Berman of Michigan, Barry Blair and his wife, Kathy of Florida and Patricia Stewart and her husband, Harry of Chelsea; cherished grandmother of Michael and Myndi Weinraub, Jonathan and Amy Weinraub, Nicole and David Sakalauskas, Jonathan and Jennifer Stewart and Stephanie Stewart and her friend, Eric Savoy and great-grandmother of Hannah, Max, Mia, Ava, Sydney and Sophie. She also leaves her loving only living sister, Lillian Aronson of Bedford and she was the sister of the late Flossie Gelen and her surviving husband, Roy of Salem, her brother-in-law Paul Blyer and his wife, Phyllis of Florida. She was predeceased by the late Ada and George Goodwin, Rhoda and Milton Kellerman, Ruth and Josh Yonis, Benjamin and Florence Blayer, George and Helen Blair, Sidney and Sylvia Blair, and Miriam and Stokes Goolsby. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews as well as loyal and loving friends.

Services will be held at Schlossberg Solomon Memorial Chapel, 824 Washington St., Canton today, Thursday, April 24 at 12 noon. Interment will follow at Sharon Memorial Park. Memorial observance will be held at the home of Stephanie Stewart this evening (Thursday) with a service at 7 p.m. and will continue on Friday from 2 p.m. through evening. Charles Christopher

President of Chelsea High School, Class of 1966

Charles Christopher of Alburtis, PA and Chelsea died after a long illness. He was 65 years old.

Christopher, also known as Chris  Christopher, was the lead acupressist for the Leigh Valley Health Network’s pain management department. During the past 15 years he helped thousands overcome chronic pain.

Christopher was president of the Chelsea High School, Class of 1966, a US Marine Corps veteran of Vietnam, a successful salesman, expert in alternative medicine and a philanthropist.

He leaves his son, Adam of Chelsea, a special friend, Suzanne Ickles of Alburtis, PA; brothers, Richard and his wife, Lena of Saugus and Lenny of Methuen and nieces: Nicole, Danielle, Renee and Melanie and nephews: Jason, Gary and Nick as well as his uncle, Jake Amato of Everett. He also leaves many loving cousins.
