We join the Chelsea community in recognizing the Salvation Army in Chelsea as it joins in the national celebration of Salvation Army Week.
The Salvation Army helps so many cities and towns, families, and individuals throughout our country. We’re fortunate in Chelsea to have this great organization performing its noble deeds from its building on Chestnut Street.
A great luncheon was held Monday at the Wyndham Chelsea Hotel at which time three distinguished individuals, City Manager Jay Ash, Dockside Restaurant owner Jack Urbaczewski, and MWRA Program Manager Paul Burridge were honored for their outstanding contributions to charitable organizations and their support of the Salvation Army’s mission.
We commend Captains Scott Peabody and Karen Peabody and Lieutenants Miguel Garces and Nancy Garces on their tremendous efforts and those of Salvation Army volunteers nationwide.
Keep up your great work.
