Jean Harvey

Jean G. (Long) Harvey of East Hampstead, NH died on July 30.

She was the daughter of the late Gordon and Annie Edna (Bennett) Long, mother of Frederick W. Harvey, III of Edgartown, MA, Debra J. Killey of Salem, NH and Amy L. DeFeo of Sandown, NH; sister of Gordon R. Long of Oak Bluffs, MA, former wife of Frederick Harvey, Jr. and is also survived by six grandchildren and one great-grandson. Calling

Evelyn Mosley

Of Florida, Formerly of Everett

A graveside service was held for Evelyn (Burley) Mosley at Glenwood Cemetery with Reverend Gerald Osterman officiating.

Mrs. Mosley was born in Everett on July 17, 1961. She lived in Florida recently but grew up in Everett and attended the Everett schools. A housewife, she raised two children and was one of six children of Irene (Gould) Burley.

She was the former wife of the late Robert Desmond who died in 2006 and she is survived by her husband, Paul Mosley of Florida and her two children, Stephen and Adam Desmond; four sisters: Diane Mallett of Revere, Michele Paradis of Chelsea, Patricia Wade of Everett, Lisa Dellisola of Derry, NH and her brother, Arthur Burley of Florida.

Gaspero ‘Happy’ Trainito

Of East Boston, formerly of Chelsea

Gaspero C. “Happy” Trainito of East Boston, formerly of Chelsea, died on August 3.

A US Army veteran of World War II, he was the beloved husband of the late Lois (Robinson) Trainito; devoted father of Peter Trainito and his wife, Marilyn of Chelsea, Daniel Trainito and his wife, Doris of Revere, Stephen Trainito of Haverhill, Scott-Allen Trainito and his wife, Diane of Everett, and Rosmarie Petersine and her husband, Darryl of Sydney, Ohio; dear brother of Valeria Trainito of East Boston, Crocifissa “Fannie” Morano and Stefano Trainito, both of California and  the late Gaetana “Annie,” Rosaria “Rosie,” and Angelo Trainito. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and one great grandson.

Frederick Kinnally

Lynn Resident

Frederick T. Kinnally of Lynn died on August 2 at Salem Hospital.

He was the beloved husband of Sandra (Arcand) Kinnally and is also survived by his children, Karen (Kinnally) King and her husband, James of Virginia, Mary Kinnally of Puerto Rico and Brianna and Daniel Kinnally of Lynn; his brothers, Robert Kinnally of Chelsea, Henry Kinnally and his wife, AnnMarie of Revere, and his sister, Carolyn (Kinnally) Cote and her husband, William of Billerica. He was the brother of the late Daniel, Raymond, David and John.

Stephen Summa 

Of Chelsea, formerly of the North End 

Stephen R. Summa of Chelsea, formerly of the North End of Boston, died on July 25 after a long illness.

He was the son of the late Gaspar and Helen (Forte) Summa of the North End; devoted father of Gina and Steven Summa; loving grandfather of Tiffany, Steven and Destiny; long time partner of Janice Cravotta; brother of Barbara (Summa) Sullivan, Robert and his wife, Christine Summa and the late Joseph Summa and brother in law of the late Jean Summa. He is also survived by a large extended family.

His Funeral Mass was held at Our Lady of Grace Church, Chelsea.

Dorothy ‘Dottie’ Chaison 

Fashion Designer and Jewelry Maker 

Dorothy M. “Dottie” Chaison, formerly of Pensacola, Florida and Chelsea, died on June 27 at 8:13 a.m. with her loving family by her side at her daughter and son-in-law’s home in Sweetwater, TN.

She was born in Chelsea on May 20, 1925 to the late Elsie J. (Walver) and Auguste L. Hovasse.  She attended the local schools until deciding to attend a Woman’s Design School in Boston where she enjoyed learning: fashion/sewing/sketching/design. She especially enjoyed creating suits and attire for her dear husband, “Gus”, who died on December 9, 2010.

When her children were born, she became a stay-at-home-Mom.  Her love for sewing and design continued in the many outfits, dresses and coats that she made for them.

When the children were grown, she began a new adventure in the jewelry business, designing, creating and selling her own special jewelry, called:  The Taurus Collection.

A short time later, she and her husband retired to Pensacola, Florida to join their daughter and her husband.  They enjoyed many happy years in Florida and in 2006, the family relocated to beautiful Sweetwater, TN.

“Dottie” was a loving mother to her children and grandchildren: her daughter, Dawnelle M. “Dawn” and son-in-law William C. “Bill” Ouellette;

grandchildren: Haley M., age 16 and Corbett C. , age 22 and her son, Dean J. Chaison, all of Sweetwater, TN; Son and daughter-in-law, Augustus J.

“Skip” and Patricia T. “Pat” Chaison and grandchildren: Jonathan, age 23 and Jessie, age 25 of Corbin, Kentucky.

She is also survived by her sister Josephine Lang and nephew and Godson, Harry Phillips and his wife, Chris, of Denver, CO., and by many other nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 11 at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in Madisonville, TN with Fr. P.J. McGinnity officiating.  Arrangements entrusted to the Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, Madisonville, TN.

Marion Siuda 

Past President of P.A.V. Ladies Auxiliary 

Marion R. (Malachowski) Siuda of Chelsea died on August 6,

She was a member and the Past President of P.A.V. Post 13, Chelsea, Ladies Auxiliary.

The beloved wife of the late John I. Siuda, she was the devoted mother of Judy Poli and her husband, Dean of Melrose and the late Steven Siuda; dear sister of Lucy Zbikowski of Chelsea, the late Carol Burke, Joseph, Edward and Stephen A. Malachowski and the dear sister in law of Edwina Siuda, Irene Malachowski and Barbara Malachowski. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Her Funeral will be held from the Frank A. Welsh & Sons Funeral Home, 718 Broadway, Chelsea today, Thursday, August 9 at 8:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Stanislaus Church, 163 Chestnut St., Chelsea at 9:30 a.m. Services will conclude with burial at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
