The Chelsea High girls basketball team embarked on its Journey to the Tourney with a contest last night (Wednesday) against Arlington at the CHS gym as the Record was going to press.
The Lady Red Devils, who compiled a sterling 13-4 record this season under head coach Matt LaBranche and captured the championship of the Small Division of the Commonwealth Athletic Conference, were seeded third in the MIAA Division 2 North Sectional.
Arlington, which finished 8-12 on the year, was the 14th seed. The winner will face No. 6 seed Arlington Catholic at a place and date to be determined.
