Aj Wright Mall Store Reincarnated As A Tj Maxx

The newly opened AJ Wright store in the Marketbasket Mall will be changed to a TJ Maxx, according to TJ Maxx officials.

TJ Maxx Corporation announced it would be shuttering half of its 1,600 AJ Wright stores. The Chelsea store will remain open, according to company offi cials as a TJ Maxx.

The popular nationwide retailer believes a TJ Maxx store at the location will best suit the needs of local shoppers drawn to the store.

AJ Wright recently shut about 800 of its stores and buried its name as well, changing the surviving 800 stores to TJ Maxx locations or to Marshall’s.

Early speculation has Chelsea’s AJ Wright store becoming a Marhsall’s.

However, when all was said and done, the decision was made by corporate leaders at TJ Maxx to turn the store into a TJ Maxx instead.

TJ Maxx is virtually a brand name for consumers who shop the store for its tremendous savings on a wide variety of  merchandise including designer and brand name clothing, accessories and home décor products.

TJ Maxx officials said the company persona is that of a widespread chain that offers no sales, no gimmicks, just brand name and designer fashions for individuals and family and for your home with up to 60% off department store prices – every day.

Additionally, TJ Maxx prides itself on stocking new items delivered to their stores every week.

TJ Maxx has 900 stores nationwide.

An exact date for the Chelsea store makeover was not available.
