It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Richard John Wronski, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, born into eternal life on April 13, 2026, at the age of 84. Surrounded by his loving family in the peaceful surroundings of his home in Stoneham, Richard’s life here on earth came to a close, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, devotion, and unwavering love.
Richard was born on December 30, 1941, to the late William V. and Mary I. (Urbaniak) Wronski. He was raised in Chelsea, where he attended St. Stanislaus Parochial School and graduated from Chelsea High School before furthering his education at Northeastern University. After proudly serving in the United States Coast Guard, he worked for several companies in the emerging tech industry. Richard then built a successful career by helping others’ build their own careers, as the President and CEO of RJ Wronski Associates Inc., an award-winning company he founded in 1984 specializing in the design and delivery of corporate leadership programs and technical training.
For 63 cherished years, Richard was married to Carol Ann (Hildreth) Wronski. Together, they raised three devoted sons: Richard, John, and Stephan. Family was integral to Richard’s life, and he was passionately devoted to their well-being and happiness. He found joy in simple pleasures, whether it was fishing, home gardening, or taking long walks along the North Shore or along the beaches of Cape Cod. Richard enjoyed traveling with Carol Ann, exploring a vast array of countries and cultures and cherishing the experiences they created together.
In addition to his parents, Richard was predeceased by his siblings, John “Skip”Wronski and Leona (Wronski) Graboski. He is lovingly survived by his beloved wife, Carol Ann (Hildreth) Wronski; his sons, Richard Wronski of Medford, Father John Wronski SJ of Chestnut Hill, and Stephan Wronski and his wife, Inga (Usalis) Wronski of Abington; as well as his cherished grandchildren, “Rick” Wronski, Scott Wronski, Rachel Wronski, Nicholas Wronski and his wife Taylor (Mullen) Wronski, Kristina Wronski, and Gretchen Wronski.
Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during visiting hours at the Welsh Funeral Home, located at 718 Broadway, Chelsea, tpday, Thursday, April 16, from 4 to 8 p.m.. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, April 17 at 10 a.m.at St. Ignatius of Loyola Church, 28 Commonwealth Avenue, Chestnut Hill. Family and friends are encouraged to gather directly at the church. The services will conclude with interment at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
