Robert Rossetti

May 10, 1956 – November 18, 2024 

Relatives and friends attended visiting hours for Robert J. Rossetti on Monday, November 25, in the Welsh Funeral Home, 718 Broadway, Chelsea and Robert will be placed to rest in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park at a future date.

Robert Rossetti, 68, passed away suddenly on Monday, November 18th at the Whidden Memorial Hospital in Everett. Born and raised in Chelsea, Robert attended local schools and spent most of his life here before residing in Revere for the past two years.

He was a beloved son of the late Michael and Edith (Tolman) Rossetti. Robert worked as an independent residential painter for many years. He cherished the company of his large family and many good friends.

He was the long-time beloved companion of Deborah Morabito and dear brother of Michael Rossetti of Wilmington, Diane Brown of Saugus, Janet Collorone of Chelsea, Robert Rossetti of Revere, Donna Canales, of Chelsea, Pasquale Rossetti of Chelsea, James Rossetti of Chelsea, Leana Griffin of Conway, NH, Angela Jenks of Chelsea and Lisa Rossetti of Revere, the late Thomas P. Rossetti, Theresa Price, Patricia Rossetti and Joseph Rossetti.  He is also survived by numerous extended family members and friends.

Elizabeth Margaret Allen

January 2, 1939 – November 8, 2024

Relatives and friends are most kindly invited to attend a visitation and funeral services for Isabelle Margaret (Lopes-Martin) Allen in the Welsh Funeral Home, 718 Broadway, Chelsea, on Saturday, November 30, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Funeral services will immediately follow the visitation in the Funeral Home at 11 a.m. and services will conclude with interment at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. 

Isabelle Margaret (Lopes-Martin) Allen was born on January 2, 1939 and grew up in the Everett/Chelsea, Massachusetts area. She returned to her heavenly home on November 8, 2024, in Wyoming, Michigan.

She was 85 years old and lived a full and robust life. She was loved dearly by her family and friends and all who encountered her.

Isabelle was a young bride and mother and a career woman. Early in her professional career, she worked in the non-profit sector at CAPIC helping impoverished individuals and families gain independence. Later she held a director position at the Department of Public Works of Massachusetts. Her zest for learning led her to obtain her bachelor’s degree in business during her tenure. Her career was a clear testament to her strong drive to succeed.

Isabelle contributed to numerous charitable organizations during her lifetime. She was a voracious reader of fiction novels and finished a book a week. Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune were her favorite shows, and she was a competitive armchair participant. Isabel loved to try her luck with the one-armed bandits at the casinos and was a lucky gal.

Isabelle was deeply involved in the day-to-day lives of her children, grandchildren and extended family.  Fond memories include her acting debut in home movies with her grandchildren and culinary adventures including baking gourmet mud pies’

Isabelle was the daughter of Elizabeth Clayborn (Russell) and Theodore Lopes, sister of Edward Fortes, Tony Fortes, Joel Lopes, Gary Lopes, Carol (Lopes) Hardwick, Cathleen (Lopes) Santia. She was mother to William C. Martin Jr., Elizabeth (Martin) Tucker, Kim Martin, David Martin, and the late Todd Martin. She was grandmother to Shauna Martin, Brandon Tucker, Christopher Gilliard, Bianca Tucker, Adina (Martin) Smith, Brittany (Martin) Stewart, David Williams, Arian Martin, Tayler Martin, Tamara Martin, Olivia Martin.
