Armed Robbery on a Bike

On Oct. 9, at 8:29 p.m., officers were dispatched to 755 Broadway for a report of an armed robbery. Upon arrival, the officers spoke to the victim who stated that a white female and a Hispanic male on a bike had pointed a knife at him and robbed him. The officers were able to locate the female and place her under arrest for the robbery.

The male party was located shortly after.

Emerald Crowley, 23, of Lynn, was charged armed robbery.

Brian Belew, 34, of 179 Franklin Ave., was charged with armed robbery, assault and battery, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, and four arrest warrants.

Time To Go

On Sept. 30, at 11:50 a.m.,  Massachusetts General Hospital Police were summoned to Adult Medicine on a report of a disturbance. The MGH police placed a male into custody who refused orders to leave the building.

James Gulla, 28, of 65 Blossom St., was charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and assault and battery on a police officer.

Major Fentanyl Bust on Webster

On Oct. 2, based on an on-going Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) narcotics investigation, members of the Chelsea Police Department Drug unit with members of the DEA New England Field Division were granted a search warrant for a residence at 1 Webster Ave. This search resulted in the seizure of 3,788 fentanyl pills, 261 grams of cocaine and more than $12,000 in US currency. The male subject inside the property was placed under arrest at the address.

Samson Gebre, 34, of 1 Webster Ave., was charged with trafficking in more than 200 grams of cocaine, trafficking in more than 10 grams of Fentanyl, possession to distribute a counterfeit drug, and selling drugs near a school.
