CAUGHT WITH DRUGS
On Aug. 28, at 10 a.m., a CPD officer patrolling in the area of Crescent and Spencer Avenues observed a hand-to-hand drug transaction between two males. The officer placed both males under arrest seizing more than 20 small individually wrapped clear packages believed to be heroin along with US currency.
Michael Bernard, 40, of 15 Spencer Ave., was charged with distribution of a Class A drug (heroin), subsequent offense, possession to distribute a Class A drug, and conspiracy.
Guy Cordeiro, 61, of Quincy, was charged with Conspiracy.
