THREATENED WITH KNIFE

On Feb. 20, at 11:30 a.m., detectives, were on patrol in the area of Bellingham Square when they observed two males arguing. As detectives approached the men, one became extremely agitated and began yelling and threatening the other. That agitated male appeared to be under the influence of alcohol. The second individual stated he called police because he was approached for no reason while doing his laundry and was threatened with a small folding knife. That subject was placed under arrest.

Bartolome Benitez, 26, of 202 Chestnut St., was charged with assault with a dangerous weapon and threatening to commit a crime.

ASLEEP AT THE WHEEL

On Feb. 21, at 2:45 a.m., officers responded to the McDonald’s located at 170 Revere Beach Parkway on the report of a motor vehicle parked and blocking access to the drive-thru. As officers arrived, they observed a male passed out behind the wheel. The man eventually woke up, and upon seeing the officers began to act nervous and making furtive movements with his hands. The officers removed him from the vehicle. The male then broke away briefly from the officers and ran across the Revere Beach Parkway, but was quickly apprehended.

The officer retrieved several bags consistent with narcotics and a significant amount of US currency on his person. He was placed under arrest on the scene after a brief struggle.

Ralph Enayo, 35, of Medford, was charged with assault and battery on a police officer, distribution of a Class B drug (subsequent offense), furnishing a false name and four warrants.

ASSAULTED BY FRIEND

On Feb. 22, at 10:54 a.m., officers responded to a past assault at 38 Cary Ave. Upon arrival, the victim was on the stairs and appeared to be distraught. She advised officers that she was assaulted by a male party known to her as “Rick.” She told officers the assault was over her purchasing narcotics earlier. She claimed the subject pulled a box cutter and threatened her. He was placed under arrest a short time later.

Ricardito Vasquez, 50, of Revere, was charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and assault and battery.

FIGHT AT THE GAZEBO

On Feb. 26, at 5:12 p.m., a CPD officer – while walking in Bellingham Square – observed two male parties fist fighting near the gazebo. The officer placed the aggressor, whom he saw throw the first punch, under arrest after a brief struggle.

Wilson Munera, 36, of East Boston, was charged with assault and battery.

DUNKIN DONUTS FRACAS

On March 2, at 8:41 a.m., officers were dispatched to Dunkin Donuts at 372 Washington Ave. for reports of an ongoing fight inside. Officers detained both parties, and after reviewing the store video, the officer placed the initial aggressor under arrest.

Daniel Valdes, 38, of 50 Parker St., was charged with assault and battery.

Robert Arrieta-Zanghi, 22, 154 Pearl St., Chelsea, was arrested for operating motor vehicle with suspended license.

Juvenile Offender, 16, was arrested for Stop sign violation, unregistered motor vehicle, unlicensed operation of motor vehicle, uninsured motor vehicle.

Ramon Pagan, 56, 444 Harrison Ave., Boston was arrested for Trespassing.

Wilson Munera, 36, 190 Parish St., East Boston, was arrested for assault and battery.

Luis Burgos, 27, 61 Crescent Ave., Chelsea, was arrested on warrants.

 

Tuesday, 2/27

Henry Hernandez-Valentin, 47, 21 John St., Chelsea, was arrested on warrant.

 

Wednesday, 2/28

Dominic Brewster, 29, 112 Hampton St., Boston, was arrested for possessing alcoholic beverage.

Humberto Chavez, 51, 27 Norwood St., Everett, was arrested for operating motor vehicle unlicensed.

 

Thursday, 3/1

Jose Burgos-Murillo, 60, Homeless, Chelsea, was arrested on a warrant.

Juvenile Offender, 16, was arrested for threat with serious public alarm (bomb).

 

Friday, 3/2

Juan Matos-Figueroa, 21, 125 Jaques St., Somerville, was arrested on a warrant.

 

Saturday, 3/3

Daniel Valdes, 38, 50 Parker St., Chelsea, was arrested for assault and battery.

Laureano Morales Garcia, 41, 52 Blossom St., Chelsea, was arrested for operating under the influence of liquor, unlicensed operation of motor vehicle, stop sign violation, possessing open container of alcohol in motor vehicle, speeding.

 

Sunday, 3/4

Baudilio Mauricio, 28, 89 Bellingham St., Chelsea, was arrested for unlicensed operation of motor vehicle and motor vehicle lights violation.
