Malden Catholic High School is pleased to announce that it has accepted 58 members as Saint Francis Xavier (SFX) Scholars for the Class of 2016. One of these outstanding scholars is Anthony Deras from Chelsea. Deras is a student at St. Anthony’s School in Everett. Malden Catholic’s SFX Scholars Program will enter its fifth year next fall. While still early in the process, Malden Catholic’s Class of 2012 SFX Scholars have begun receiving acceptances from nationally acclaimed colleges, including: Harvard University, Loyola University – Chicago, Northeastern University, Purdue University – College of Engineering, Providence College and Ohio State University.
