As part of its ongoing efforts to promote literacy, Metro Credit Union recently participated in the Massachusetts Credit Union League’s Annual Children’s Book Drive. This year, Metro selected the Manville School as the recipient of the eight boxes of children’s books that were donated by Metro members and employees. In addition, Metro presented Alice Cohen, Milieu Director of the Manville School, with a $500 Barnes & Noble gift card to help supplement their school library.
The Manville School is a therapeutic day school for children who experience emotional, neurological, or learning difficulties. Manville is a school where students with challenging needs can experience academic success, skill development, and emotional maturation.
