City Manager Jay Ash has been paying close attention to efforts by officials from Winthrop and Revere who are attempting to create a scenario by which they can combine their 911 calling centers in order to save money and reduce the duplication of services.
Ash said he is also working with Revere to see how Chelsea and Revere could create energy partnerships and to save some money on the delivery of electricity.

The sooner we all combine forces – literally – the sooner our cities and towns will return to more sane budgets which would result in lower property taxes.
This is the way to go.
