Get out and vote

Tuesday is the special senate election.

We urge Chelsea voters to get out and to vote.

All the candidates have let us know who they are and what they stand for – some more than others.

It is our belief that Attorney Tim Flaherty and Everett’s Sal DiDomenico are the two major contenders for what used to be the seat held by former senator Anthony Galluccio.

The local favorite, Michael Albano, has also captured the interest of many local progressives.

When you cast your vote, cast a vote that counts.

Send the best candidate to the senate.

It is your choice.

Get out and vote on Tuesday.

Shame on the Chelsea Record for not giving voters a fair summary of the candidates in the final edition of the paper to come out before Primary Day. You may feel that Flaherty and DiDomenico are the candidates to beat, but by not giving voters a summary of former Cambridge Mayor Denise Simmons, Cambridge attorney Dennis Benzan, and Charlestown Attorney Dan Hill in addition to reporting on the horse race aspect, you have done your readers and your community a disservice.
